The Table Cafe, our lovely independent restaurant, is looking for new front of house staff as well as our brand new opening branch in Battersea Rise. Shifts will be a mix of day and evenings, with brunch provided on shift and the exciting opportunity of developing your skills with a new restaurant.
Trial shifts will be held at our original site The Table Cafe, 83 Southwark St, SE1 0HX
Job description:
- Setting up the front line with the plate ware and equipment needed to effectively serve all food items
- Cleaning and resetting tables
- Keeping the station restocked, cleaning small, large trays and tray stands, reading order tickets and placing them onto the ticket minder
- Tracking cooking times on all food orders and checking them for appearance and the proper degree of doneness
- Performing all job duties while complying to all safety practices and guidelines
- Completing closing duties correctly at the end of each shift, resetting ready for next day service
- Performing all side work in the front and back of the restaurant as scheduled or assigned by the management
- Delivering orders to guests’ tables while the food is still hot and notifying waitstaff when orders are ready
