We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Global Head of Payments, Transaction Banking
In this role, you will:
- Drive transformational delivery, commercial performance, strategic roadmap change and Value Stream business outcome leadership for domestic and international payments. Lead annual VSIP planning cycle for Global Payments with full alignment on Multi Market value stream plans and with markets.
- Execute improved customer journeys, proposition innovation, pricing capabilities, pricing optimisation and P&L management.
- Drive Payment volumes and payment migration activity. Align strategy with Global Money Business Outcome lead to align broader Global Payments strategy with Global Money strategy to ensure a seamless client and colleague experience and to ensure full prioritisation of investment.
- Lead WPB Payments Strategy to maximise customer and profitable volume growth and ensure the future innovation opportunities are captured while delivering key Objectives and key results.
- Support the Global Head of Liabilities and NFI fees and the Markets to drive Fee income from Global Payments products
- Support the Global Customer Experience transformation programme and drive achievement of immediate payment service and drive objectives and key results
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Relevant experience in Payments and Transactional Banking Products i.e., Current, Savings, Time, Debit Cards, Overdrafts, Payments) or similar Product and Service management within Retail or Corporate & Institutional Banking across a multi-market envinroment.
- Experience of product management, organizational leadership, and commercial management of Transactional Banking products
- Strong technical knowledge of Retail Banking products and market/industry review for strategy formulation
- Strong experience developing solutions and journeys to meet customer needs
- Demonstrated ability to grow and drive a business, revenue, balances, sales volumes
- Experience of operating with multi geography teams in Retail Banking
- Strong leadership communication skills coupled with a high and demanding benchmark
- The role holder should provide the necessary thought leadership; should also be an effective consensus builder to ensure the appropriate buy-in and support from markets/regions and Global stakeholders
- Experience with Agile execution and delivery models – work streams.
The base location for this role is HK or UK. This role will have hybrid working arrangements with 3 days in a week in the office.
